Your second significant write of the quarter will be due at NOON on Sunday, February 21 and is about high school sports. I’ve included a link to the prompt here, and a link to the three kinds of thesis statements we will review on Tuesday.
This Friday, we’ll have our quiz over Act 2 of Antony and Cleopatra. To review, you can definitely check out the No Fear Shakespeare version of the play and rely on your study guide. The study guides are also due on Friday.
The written Great Gatsby exam will require you to answer two questions, each in a well-developed essay with a thesis and 2-3 strong, detailed paragraphs. An excellent answer will demonstrate knowledge of the text, classroom discussion and the notes we’ve discussed.

We will have a quiz over Act 1 in class on Friday, when you will also be turning in your study guide. While you can’t use the study guide for the quiz, you will get credit for turning in a completed version of it before the quiz and the material on the study guide will cover what is on the quiz.
