The second significant write for English II is posted online and you should begin your research and drafting now. We will have some time to work on the piece in class, but you should plan to do some work at home to complete it.

The assignment will be due on Thursday, March 3 in class. Please bring a printed copy to class that day.

Our first poet will be the inimitable “Uncle” Walt Whitman, whose Leaves of Grass remains one of the most read volumes of poetry ever written. While most of his poems will be in the packet, a few are the textbook and I have provided links here.
