Your first essay of 2018 will be another synthesis essay, this time on the topic of reparations for slavery. It will be due on Sunday, January 7th at noon. You can download the prompt here.

The final draft will be due on Friday, Jan 12 in class. No exceptions, no late papers, no running to the library to print it at the start of class. To revise, you will need to do the following:

schedule a 10-minute meeting with me to discuss the changes you need to make in the paper, with all members of your group present. I will have a schedule on my board.
attach the previous draft(s) of your essay to the new one, with all changes bolded.
meet the minimum requirement of ten cited sources in the paper, with at least 20 in-text citations included.
have no errors in MLA formatting, including headers, the works cited page, font size, and everything else.

Failure to meet any of those expectations will mean no credit for the revision.
