Read both of the following articles about Between the World and Me and identify the two best and two worst arguments from each.
After a serious amount of deliberation, I’ve decided to let you all of those who turned in a research paper have one more revision on the paper, including the people who did not submit papers for the first draft. I’m not excited about this, but it’s important that you learn the skills necessary to write a research paper before this year comes to an end.
The final draft will be due on Friday, Jan 12 in class. No exceptions, no late papers, no running to the library to print it at the start of class. To revise, you will need to do the following:
Failure to meet any of those expectations will mean no credit for the revision.

Your first essay of 2018 will be another synthesis essay, this time on the topic of reparations for slavery.
It will be due on Sunday, January 7th at noon.
