AP Students-

Don’t forget that you have a bit of work to take care of over the break. You need to finish (because you have been diligently working for a week) your poetry explication by Friday at 4:00 p.m. and complete your sonnet for class on Monday.

Otherwise, have a great break.

The reading assignment for Monday will be due Tuesday, so that we can do project presentations in class on Monday. If you are writing an essay, please remember that it is due Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

It’s time to get some poetry practice going on. For this week, to make sure that everyone can use the system, let’s just comment on one poem. You can choose to either write a response to “Not Swans” or “The Cabbage.” The goal is to thoughtfully interact with the poem and with each other.

The poem discussion forum is located here, or you can get there by following the link in under the AP menu. You need to be logged into the site to make a comment.

If you are feeling very ambitious, you can start working on reading a poem a day. It builds character after all.
