The final draft of the education reform research paper will be due on Thursday at 3:30, delivered to school in a printed copy.
When you submit, make sure to:
- make all the corrections from the original draft.
- attach the previous draft behind your new copy.
- hand/deliver the essay to me in Room 14.
Specific areas of concern for revision include:
- the use of academic research.
- organization that is coherent and consistent.
- including an actual plan for HHS/HSD1.
- paraphrasing in your own words.
The next essay for English III will be simple: decide who should be elected the next President of the United States and defend your choice in a well-written essay. The requirements of the essay:
- The paper should be written using 1” margins and 12 point font.
- It should be a minimum of 800 words, and no more than 1200.
- You should include at least 5 different sources in your essay.
The paper is due in class on Thursday.
The Education Unit test will have two portions, one section of paragraph response and one section of essay response. The details of the test are below. Click “read more” to get the specific questions.
The revised, final due date for the education paper is Monday, April 18 at 10:00 p.m. via Google Docs or e-mail. Whichever format you choose to use, make sure that your formatting is done correctly.
The presentations will be due on Wednesday, April 20 in class.

We’ll have three ACT review sessions for the English portion of the exam. They’ll be in my room, with the doorway open at the end of the Social Studies hallway. Please try to arrive a few minutes early so we can began right away.
