This is my eighteenth year at Helena High School, where I teach English III AP Language, AP Seminar, Honors English 2, Debate, and Speech. In my spare time, I enjoy grading essays, watching the San Diego Padres and Portland Timbers, and buying more books than I could ever hope to read.

The Three Weeks of Doom have arrived. For the next month, expect high stress and even higher levels of achievement. My main advice? Take each of these
essay assignments seriously, listen to the review and discussion about each, and try to make every essay better than the one that preceded it. You will have every opportunity to succeed; it’s up to you to seize it. For dates and review materials, read the rest of the story.
The Sanders revisions will be available in this folder by Tuesday morning (oops, of course I meant night). If you’d like to revise them for extra credit, they are due by Friday evening.
