Daily Wisdom: Are Grasshoppers Just Land Shrimp?
Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan is among the people who believe that we need to consider eating insects as a more sustainable means of feeding the world. David Cooper writes:
Kofi Annan places his faith in the power of education and rational argument. He recommends taking different approaches for different audiences. Other constituencies may be more persuaded by the promise of nutritional benefits, the guarantee of food security, or learning how important insects are in many cuisines across the world.
